Infection Control Fund Phase 2: Pre grant statement – Personal Assistants and Support With Confidence members
Overview
The Adult Social Care Infection Control Fund has been extended until March 2021, with an extra £546 million of funding. This is a new grant, with revised conditions from the original Infection Control Fund. As with the previous round, a proportion of the discretionary component of this fund is being used to provide PPE grants for Personal Assistants and other non-CQC registered care and support businesses, subject to adherence to the grant conditions.
- Each PA can request a payment of £300.00 which will be paid by BACS.
- Each PA business can request a payment of £300.00 multiplied by the number of personal assistants delivering their accredited services and this will be paid by BACS.
- Each sole trader can request a payment of £120.00 which will be paid by BACS.
- Other Support With Confidence accredited businesses that haven’t received any other form of Infection Control Fund monies since November 2020 can request a payment of £120.00 multiplied by the number of workers they have delivering the accredited service and this will be paid by BACS.
