We know that booking respite services can be a challenge, as many providers will only take respite bookings in the weeks beforehand. This can make it hard to use respite for planned activites such as holidays. Unfortunately, it is not within the scope of this contract to influence change in this area. Any attempt to do so is more likely to mean that providers withdraw from the market rather than change their approach.
