Change of age range at Shinewater Primary School

Closed 3 Mar 2017

Opened 3 Feb 2017

Shinewater Primary School currently runs early years provision for 3 to 4 year olds.  The governing body of the school wishes to support vulnerable families in their care by lowering their age range from 3 to 11 to 2 to11.

The aim of the proposal is to integrate, fully, nursery provision into the Early Years Foundation Stage within the school. The governing body wishes to ensure that the nursery continues to support the local area and to offer high quality early education delivered by experienced and well-trained staff across the Early Years Foundation Stage.  The aim is to build on the work already done by the school to secure good outcomes for all children in the future.
