Ringmer Swimming Pool Consultation on Future Options
Overview
This consultation seeks views concerning the Pool’s future from local residents; the Academy’s staff and pupils, and pupils’ parents/carers; and any other stakeholders. Respondents are specifically invited to provide their views on the alternative options of (a) closing the Pool permanently, (b) keeping the Pool open (which appears likely to require subsidisation by ESCC) and (c) considering alternative viable proposals. The consultation also provides respondents with the opportunity to make proposals as to how the Pool might be kept open, and/or whether the space could be used for some other purpose, in a financially sustainable way.
On 28th April 2022, a Lead Member for Resources and Climate Change report approved the public consultation process to secure views on the future of the Ringmer Pool
