Survey on children's mental health and emotional well-being in early years settings
Overview
The East Sussex Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Team (MHEW) in the Education Division is leading a project on promoting the emotional wellbeing of children in early years settings.
The aims of the project are:
· to promote national information, advice and guidance on emotional wellbeing for parents & carers of under 5s,
· to share good practice in establishing the foundations for good mental health in the early years, and supporting parents & carers to do this.
In order to begin our work we would like to invite all early years settings to complete this survey, which should take no longer than 15 minutes.
Why your views matter
By completing this survey you will be supporting ESCC to develop and create relevant guidance and intervention for supporting and embedding positive well-being and mental health at the earliest opportunity for nursery aged children. You will be entered into a draw to win a goody bag to use in your early years setting. The winners will be selected at random and announced within 5 working days after the survey finishes.
This survey is for childminders, nurseries and pre-schools.
