All the feedback received during the formal consultation was considered and, as no objections were received, the Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) was made.

Overview
It is proposed to reduce the current speed limit of 50mph on the A259 Pevensey Bay Road, Eastbourne to 40mph. This section of the A259 was identified as a priority in the first year of the Speed Management Programme.
Initial consultations have been carried out. Based on the feedback received, we are now formally advertising changes to the speed limit.
