Overview

As part of a wider review of speed limits in villages, we are planning to make changes to the speed limits in Burwash Common and we would like to hear your views about these changes.

Why your views matter

We are proposing to reduce the existing 50mph speed limit through parts of Burwash Common to 40mph. This will make the road safer and improve the environment for pedestrians.

Our proposals for the change were presented at a public meeting on Tuesday 21 May 2013. Copies of our proposals are available below or at the internet cafe in the Parish Room, Bear Car Park, Burwash.

What happens next

Your comments will be reviewed and taken into account when we consult with the Parish Council, to decide the most appropriate scheme.
