Camberlot Road, Upper Dicker - 30mph Speed Limit

Overview

A Traffic Regulation Order is proposed to support the alterations to the highway along Camberlot Road linked to the development of 9 dwellings at Camberlot Stables.  

It is proposed to slightly extend the “30mph Speed Limit” along Camberlot Road as shown on the attached plan. Please note there will be no physical changes on site. 

A plan of the proposed new speed limit can be found below. 

The consultation opens on 21 November and closes on 12 December 2025. 

All comments need to be received by the closing date.

Why your views matter

Any comments will need to be emailed to tros@eastsussex.gov.uk by the closing date of 12 December 2025. 

What happens next

After the closing date of the 12 December 2025 we will process all responses.

If there are objections we will try to resolve them, if they can't be resolved we will need to present a report to the County Council Planning Commitee.
