Eastbourne (Devonshire theatre area) Parking Review - formal consultation

Closed 25 May 2018

Opened 27 Apr 2018

Overview

In January we carried out initial consultation about proposed changes to parking, waiting and loading restrictions in the Devonshire theatre area. The changes are being proposed as part of the ongoing Devonshire Park Development.

We have previously carried out informal consultations and based on the feedback received, we are now formally advertising changes to parking controls.

Why your views matter

We want to hear your views on the proposals and whether you have any reason for the proposals not being installed.

The proposals for this review are shown in the plans in the 'Related documents' section at the bottom of this page.

Please take the time to look at these carefully and tell us your views by completing the survey.

If you do or do not agree with the proposals you can make a representation. For your representation to be fully considered you must make it in writing and you will need to:

  • tell us which drawing you are objecting to or supporting,
  • explain the reasons,
  • ensure it is received before the end of the day on 25 May 2018

After the closing date of 25 May 2018 we will process all responses.

Any representations received will be carefully considered. If there are any unresolved objections, we will include them in a report to be presented to Planning Committee.

Anyone who makes a representation may speak at the Planning Committee meeting. We will write to you closer to the time to advise of the meeting date and time. The Committee will consider all objections and will then decide whether to abandon or modify the proposals, or to install them as proposed.

We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us by email to parking.escc@eastsussex.gov.uk or telephone 01323 466244.

Thank you for your interest in this consultation and for taking the time to look at the proposals.
