Overview

We want to hear from people who use our roads, about parking in Hill Crest Road, Newhaven.

The proposal follows a request for formalisation of an existing disabled bay. 

For us to consider your support or objection to the formal proposal, you must provide feedback.

The consultation period runs from 12 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. All feedback must to be received by 9 January 2026.

Why your views matter

All feedback received, either in support of or objecting to the proposal will be carefully considered. If there are any unresolved objections, we will include them in a report to be presented to Planning Committee.

Taking part

What Happens Next

After the closing date of 9 January 2026 we will process all responses.

Anyone who makes a representation may speak at the Planning Committee meeting. We will write to you closer to the time to advise of the meeting date and time. The Committee will consider all objections and will then decide whether to abandon or modify the proposal, or to install it as proposed.

After the meeting we contact everyone who provided views to let them know of the committee’s decision.
