Post 16 transport statement 2019-20
Overview
Each year local authorities are required to consult young people of sixth form age and their parents as well as other stakeholders on the Post 16 Transport Statement before it is finalised.
Why your views matter
In line with statutory requirements, the County Council is now consulting on the transport statement for the 2019/20 academic year.
We propose to use the template model suggested by the DfE in their updated guidance on Post-16 transport and travel support to education and training
The Council's policy of support is unchanged from 2018/19.
Comments are welcomed on any aspect of the proposed policy statement (see the 'Related' document below).
