The East Sussex (B2123 The Drove and Falmer Village) (20mph and 30mph Speed Limit) Order 202*
Overview
We are proposing to introduce a 30mph speed limit on the B2123 The Drove at Falmer.
At the same time, it is proposed to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Park Street, South Street, and East Street. And Mill Street, Middle Street and Ridge Road in Falmer village.
The proposal will give the B2123 The Drove restricted road status (30mph), improve road safety, and align the speed limit with the average speed of traffic.
Initial consultation have been carried out. Based on the feedback recieved, we are now formally advertising the changes to the speed limit.
