Increasing COVID-19 vaccine uptake: a survey of care home staff

Closed 15 May 2022

Opened 4 Mar 2022

Overview

To reduce the effects of the COVID-19 virus, a lot of emphasis is being placed on encouraging care workers to take up the offer of vaccination as soon as they are available.

This survey is for you and your fellow employees in your organisation. It asks people which COVID-19 vaccinations they have had, their motivations and what might encourage them to get the vaccine. It is open to everyone, including people who’ve had two jabs and a booster.

If you need this survey in another format or would prefer to complete a paper version of this survey please email public.health@eastsussex.gov.uk

The data from this survey will be used only by Public Health, to plan operations to increase uptake of the COVID-19 vaccine, and will not be shared with any employing organisations.

Care homes whose staff complete the survey can also enter a prize draw. The care home that wins the prize will receive a reward that equates to £150 and will be decided upon based on discussion and feedback from the Care Home itself, about what staff would most appreciate. The reward will aim to be something that improves staff experience at work and benefits all staff members equally. Full prize draw terms and conditions can be found on the first page of the survey.

Privacy information: This survey is anonymous and we don't ask you to provide any personal information apart from some background information about you. Please ensure that any comments you make don't include any names or personal details of you or anyone else. You can find more information about how the data will be stored and processed by East Sussex County Council on our website.
