Share your views for a safer East Sussex 2026
Overview
Do you live in East Sussex? If so, tell us what community safety issues are most important to you.
Why your view matters
The East Sussex Safer Communities Partnership aims to make East Sussex a safer place to live, work and visit.
By completing this survey you can help us understand:
- residents’ experiences of crime and anti-social behaviour in East Sussex, and
- what they feel the most important safety issues to deal with are.
This feedback will be used alongside information from other key organisations in East Sussex, national data and legislation to carry out an annual refresh of our 3-year business plan.
What we learnt last year
Last year, 429 residents' took part in the Community Safety Survey. Residents key concerns included drug and alcohol misuse, road safety, and serious violent crime, as well as anti-social behaviour issues such as speeding, fly tipping and drug dealing in public spaces.
This led to us proritising:
- drug- and alcohol-related harm reduction
- tackling serious violence
- improving road safety
- addressing anti-social behaviour
Your feedback helps shape local community safety priorities and the work we do with partners across East Sussex.
