RESPS Focus Group Discussions

Overview

The Regional East Sussex Pulmonary Service (RESPS) provides care and support for people with chronic respiratory disease, such as:

• COPD
• bronchiectasis
• Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD).

Services include individual assessment and care planning, pulmonary rehabilitation, home oxygen therapy and remote monitoring. RESPS is part of the East Sussex Healthcare Trust (ESHT) team.

Join our focus groups

East Sussex County Council is working with RESPS to run focus groups across the county. We'd like to hear from people who access community-based respiratory care, or care for someone who does. Your views will help us understand what parts of the service are working well, and what could be better. 

We want to invite people who are:

• Aged 18 or over,
• Diagnosed with COPD, bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) or pulmonary fibrosis, or caring for a family member or friend who is, and
• Registered with a GP in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Hastings or Rother areas.

The focus group facilitator will guide the conversation by asking questions about the respiratory service. The discussion will be informal, and you will be encouraged to talk freely about anything you feel is related to the questions. There are no right and wrong answers, and all your views will be respected.
