Let’s talk about care and support at home

Overview

Do you have experience of having care and support at home, or support someone who does? 

East Sussex County Council would like to hear your anonymous feedback on what is working well and how we could improve services providing care and support at home in the future. 

Why your view matters

The Council pays services to provide care and support to people living in East Sussex, within their own homes. 

We want services that work for people. By understanding our residents needs and how those needs change, the Council can adapt and improve services to provide the right support at the right time.

Therefore, we'd like people who currently access care and support at home, or have in the last year, to tell us: 

• your experiences of care and support at home  services
• what is important to you about care and support at home
• what support you might need in the future

Taking part

You can take part as either:

• someone receiving care and support at home, or
• as a carer of someone who has does (a carer is someone who regularly looks after someone who could not cope without your help). 

If you need to, you can have someone you trust help you enter your answers or complete it on your behalf. If any questions are not relevant to you, or you do not want to answer, please leave them blank. 

The survey takes roughly 10 minutes to complete. You can use the ‘Save and come back later…’ button at the end of each page if you don’t want to complete the survey all in one go.

Next steps

We will share the results, including how your feedback has been used and the outcomes, on our consultation website in early 2027.
