Admission arrangements for East Sussex Schools 2024-25
Overview
We welcome your views on the proposed admission arrangements for community and voluntary controlled schools in East Sussex for children joining schools in the 2024-25 school year.
Why your views matter
Your views are important as we are proposing to make two changes to the arrangements:
- to offer priority for children of staff to attend the school where their parent works; and
- to change the community area for Polegate and Willingdon Primary School and for Willingdon Community School.
We want to make sure that no children are disadvantaged in the school admissions process.
What happens next
Once all views have been collected, the Lead Member for Education, Inclusion, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities will decide what the admission arrangements should be. This decision will be made at a meeting to take place in February 2023. The final arrangements will be published on the East Sussex County Council website by 15 March 2023.
