A267 Five Ashes to Cross in Hand 40mph and 50mph Speed Limit Order

Overview

It is proposed to extend the 40mph speed limit at Five Ashes south to cover the junction with the A272 and introduce a 50mph speed limit from the new extended 40mph limit south to the 40mph limit at Cross in Hand. This section of the A267 was identified as a priority in the second year of the Speed Management Programme. The proposed change to the speed limit is shown on the plan in the 'related documents' section at the bottom of this page.

Initial consultations have been carried out. Based on the feedback received, we are now formally advertising the proposed changes to the speed limit.
