Wrestwood Road, Bexhill - Change to junction layout - Informal consultation
Overview
On behalf of the ESCC Road Safety Team, East Sussex Highways have prepared the detailed design of a scheme to reduce the pedestrian crossing distance at the junction of Wrestwood Road and the A269 Hollier’s Hill. The aim is to improve safety for pedestrians crossing in the area.
The scheme has been identified as a 2023 Community Focussed Safety Scheme (CFSS) site. This follows concerns raised by the Local Member about the safety for pedestrians, particularly mobility scooters and vulnerable road users, when crossing at the junction of A269.
