Overview
We are proposing some changes to parking and waiting controls in Bexhill. These include the introduction of formal disabled parking bays following successful residents’ applications and some waiting restrictions to facilitate a new vehicular access for a disabled resident.
The consultation period runs from 28 May to 21 June. All comments need to be received by 21 June.

Why your views matter
We want to hear your views on the proposals and whether you support the changes or have any reason for them not being installed.
The proposals are shown in the plans in the 'Related documents' section at the bottom of this page.
Please take the time to look at these carefully and tell us your views by completing the survey.
If you do or do not agree with the proposals you can make a representation. For your representation to be fully considered you must make it in writing and you will need to:
- tell us which drawing you are objecting to or supporting,
- explain the reasons,
- ensure it is received before the end of the day on 21 June 2021.
What Happens Next
After the closing date of 21 June we will process all responses.
All representations received, either in support of or objecting to the proposals will be carefully considered. If there are any unresolved objections, we will include them in a report to be presented to Planning Committee.
Anyone who makes a representation may speak at the Planning Committee meeting. We will write to you closer to the time to advise of the meeting date and time. The Committee will consider all objections and will then decide whether to abandon or modify the proposals, or to install them as proposed.
We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Please contact us by email to parking.escc@eastsussex.gov.uk or telephone 01323 466244.
Thank you for your interest in this consultation and for taking the time to look at the proposals.
