Overview

The consultation opens on the 28th October 2022 and closes on the 18th November 2022.

As part of the planning permsision granted for the development of 51 houses off Swanley Close, Eastbourne, now know as Wateringbury Way, there is a requirement to consult on the installation of parking restrictions (double yellow lines) in Swanley Close.

It is proposed to install parking restrictions 15m either side of the junction with Wateringbury Way. This will help maintain suitable visibility for vehicles exiting the development, allow maneauvring space for larger vehicles entering and exiting the development and provide a passing place for vehicles travelling along Swanley Close. 

All comments need to be received by the closing date.

As no objections were recieved the lining has been completed and the order sealed on the 17th November 2023.

The changes are being proposed for the ongoing development of Wateringbury Way we are required as part of planning permission granted on this site.

What happens next

After the closing date of the 18th November 2022 we will process all responses.

If there are objections we will try to resolve them, if they can't be resolved we will need to present a report to the planning commitee.
